Nickel Cadmium Batteries (NiCd)

Life time of NiCd Batteries are very long when used in proper way. They have high energy density and the output current capacity of NiCd batteries is very high. It is possible to get a considerably large current pulse in a brief time period, because of the low internal resistance.

Operating temperature range is wide. NiCd batteries operate well in both cold and warm conditions; higher temperatures than lead acid batteries without decreasing life time.
